HOW THIS CLIMATE AFFECTS YOUR SKIN & HAIR
We make things that work better and last longer. Our products solve real problems with clean design and honest materials.
In intense heat with high humidity, perspiration and sebum rise quickly, particularly around the forehead, nose and scalp. After four to five hours outdoors, the skin can look oily yet feel slightly tight from dehydration, sun exposure and repeated movement into air-conditioning. Choose a lightweight serum with glycerin or hyaluronic acid, a fast-absorbing gel moisturiser and water-resistant sunscreen. Avoid thick creams unless your skin is naturally very dry. At night, remove sunscreen, sweat and pollution with gentle cleansing. Hair tends to swell and frizz in humid air, while roots may become greasy. Use lightweight conditioner, anti-frizz serum and avoid heavy oils near the scalp.
Hydrate Lightly - Control the Shine
During a long day outdoors, temperatures above 35°C can cause substantial perspiration even when humidity is slightly lower than in peak monsoon conditions. Travellers may spend four to five hours walking, exploring and moving between shaded areas, direct sunlight and air-conditioned interiors without drinking enough water.
At 60-80% humidity, sweat may evaporate more effectively than it does in extreme humidity, but the skin can still remain warm, shiny and oily. Water loss through perspiration, combined with inadequate water intake, may leave the skin dehydrated beneath the surface. Sebum, sunscreen and environmental particles can collect around the forehead, nose and chin, while the cheeks may begin to feel dry after repeated exposure to air-conditioning. Climate and humidity can influence facial moisture, sebum and the way dryness is perceived.

The ideal mantra for this weather is: Hydrate Lightly - Control the Shine. The objective is not to strip away every trace of oil. It is to keep the skin clean, hydrated and comfortable without encouraging heaviness or congestion.
